About This Workshop
Starting your first job can feel overwhelming—but Prosperity Prep Academy is here to help! This fun and interactive four-day workshop is designed to help young adults with autism explore career paths, develop job search skills, and practice real-world interviews in a supportive and engaging environment.
Led by Prosper Workforce Services job coaches and Prosper Academy instructors, this series is filled with hands-on activities and tailored games that will prepare you for success in the workplace.
What to Expect:
Day 1: Exploring Careers & Finding Your Path
- Learn about different job industries and career options.
- Participate in career exploration games and create a vision board for your future.
Day 2: Hard Skills for Job Searching
- Learn how to search for jobs, fill out applications, and build a resume (no experience needed—we’ll provide templates!).
- Take part in a Job Hunt Scavenger Hunt to explore real job postings.
Day 3: Work Experience & Interview Prep
- Learn about volunteer opportunities and job support programs that can help you after graduation.
- Get ready for a mock interview challenge by reviewing real job postings and practicing common interview questions.
Day 4: The “You’re Hired!” Challenge (Final Activity)
- Take part in a full hiring simulation where you will:
- Apply for a job
- Participate in a mock interview
- Play the role of an employer and help decide who gets “hired”!
- Celebrate your progress with the Prosper Pledge—a personalized career goal to take with you.
Upon Completion: Participants will receive a Pre-Employment Skills Training Certificate from Prosper Workforce Services, which can be added to their resume as employment experience.

Prosper Advantage: Job Search Essentials is designed to help neurodivergent adults build the foundational skills and confidence needed to find, apply for, and secure meaningful employment. By focusing on topics like resume writing, cover letter creation, job searching, and interview preparation, this course helps participants develop real-world job readiness skills that promote independence and self-advocacy in the workplace.
Participants will:
• Create and update a professional resume that highlights their strengths and experience
• Write personalized cover letters tailored to specific employers
• Learn effective strategies for searching and applying for jobs online
• Understand interview expectations and practice professional communication
• Develop confidence in following up with employers and accepting job offers
By the end of the course, participants will feel more prepared to approach the job search process with clarity, confidence, and the practical tools needed to take the next step in their careers. They will leave with polished application materials, a stronger understanding of interview expectations, and the skills to prepare and respond effectively to common questions. This course empowers participants to navigate the hiring process with greater self-assurance and direction.

About This Workshop
Managing money can feel confusing but Prosperity Prep Academy makes it clear, practical, and fun! This interactive four-day workshop is designed to help young adults with autism build confidence in handling money, making smart financial decisions, and planning for the future.
Led by Prosper Academy instructors and financial literacy coaches, this series uses hands-on activities, games, and real-life scenarios to help you understand how money works in everyday life.
What to Expect:
Day 1: Understanding Money & Your Habits Learn the basics of how money works and explore your personal spending habits. Participate in interactive activities to identify needs vs. wants and uncover where your money typically goes. Create your own “Money Personality” profile to better understand your strengths and challenges with money.
Day 2: Budgeting for Real Life Learn how to build a simple, realistic budget that works for your life. Explore fixed, variable, and unexpected expenses through hands-on budgeting games. Practice making choices and balancing spending, saving, and fun using real-world scenarios.
Day 3: Saving, Spending & Smart Decisions Learn how to save money, avoid common financial mistakes, and make smart spending choices. Explore topics like impulse buying, subscriptions, and financial “traps.” Play decision-based games where your choices impact your financial future.
Day 4: The “Real Life Money Challenge” (Final Activity) Put your skills to the test in a full financial simulation where you will:
- Manage a monthly budget
- Handle surprise expenses
- Make spending and saving decisions in real time
- Work toward a personal financial goal
Celebrate your progress by creating your Prosper Money Plan—a personalized plan for how you’ll manage money moving forward.
Upon Completion:
Participants will receive a Financial Foundations Certificate from Prosper Academy, demonstrating their knowledge of budgeting, saving, and real-world money management skills.

Workplace Success is a supportive 4-week course for adults who want to build confidence, strengthen workplace skills, and feel more prepared for employment success. Whether you are starting your first job, returning to work, or wanting to do better in your current role, this course can help.
Participants will learn practical skills that employers value, including professionalism, communication, time management, handling feedback, staying focused, and understanding workplace expectations. Sessions include interactive instruction, real-world examples, group discussion, and practice activities designed to make learning clear and useful.
This course is autism-friendly, welcoming, and supportive of different learning styles. Participants will leave with stronger self-confidence, improved job readiness skills, and tools to help them succeed in a wide range of work environments.
