Why Money Matters is designed to help neurodivergent adults build a strong foundation in personal finance and understand the purpose behind everyday money decisions.

By focusing on topics like income, expenses, saving, budgeting, and financial decision-making, this course helps participants develop real-world money management skills that promote independence and long-term financial confidence.

Participants will:

  • Learn the basics of financial concepts such as income, expenses, saving, and budgeting
  • Explore practical tools like debit cards, banking apps, and online bill payments
  • Practice strategies for tracking spending, paying bills on time, and managing day-to-day finances
  • Use simple frameworks to make thoughtful financial decisions about needs, wants, and future goals

By the end of the course, participants will feel more prepared to manage their personal finances with clarity and confidence. They will leave with a stronger understanding of how money functions in daily life, practical tools to stay organized, and the mindset needed to make intentional financial choices that support independence and future goals.
