Job Search Essentials is designed to help neurodivergent adults build the foundational skills and confidence needed to find, apply for, and secure meaningful employment. By focusing on topics like resume writing, cover letter creation, job searching, and interview preparation, this course helps participants develop real-world job readiness skills that promote independence.
Participants will:
• Create and update a professional resume that highlights their strengths and experience
• Write personalized cover letters tailored to specific employers
• Learn effective strategies for searching and applying for jobs online
• Understand interview expectations and practice professional communication
• Develop confidence in following up with employers and accepting job offers
By the end of the course, participants will feel more prepared to approach the job search process with clarity, confidence, and the practical tools needed to take the next step in their careers. They will leave with polished application materials, a stronger understanding of interview expectations, and the skills to prepare and respond effectively to common questions. This course empowers participants to navigate the hiring process with greater self-assurance and direction.
